SmartBase IoT Platform V1.6.0 Released

ImagineLink has released version V1.6.0 of the SmartBase IoT Platform. This release introduces OTA remote upgrade management, covering three core modules: upgrade version management, upgrade device management, and device upgrade status reporting.

For upgrade version management, the platform supports creating and maintaining upgrade version information on a per-product-line basis, with both full-package and incremental package types. Incremental packages support filtering upgrade devices by version conditions. Two package entry methods are supported — file upload and URL entry — along with version information management including version number, version name, timeout settings, and push notifications.

For upgrade device management, the platform supports batch addition of devices to pending upgrade task lists, with the ability to actively push upgrade version information to devices. Users can track device upgrade status, progress, estimated time, remaining time, start time, and completion time. Upgrade process log querying and tracking are supported, with device-level log file upload capabilities. The platform also provides summary statistics including total upgrades, successful, failed, and in-progress counts.

For device upgrade status and progress reporting, the platform supports HTTP and MQTT protocol interfaces for device-side interactions, with device-initiated version query and detection, as well as real-time status and progress reporting.

V1.6.0 further enhances the platform's remote operations and maintenance capabilities, reducing manual labor costs associated with device firmware upgrades.
