SmartBase IoT Platform V1.1.0 Released

ImagineLink has released version V1.1.0 of the SmartBase IoT Platform. This release primarily adds MQTT protocol support along with topic subscription and publishing management capabilities.

For MQTT communication, the platform enables device clients to connect to the cloud via the MQTT protocol, establishing bidirectional communication. It provides two device authentication methods — one-type-one-secret and one-device-one-secret — to meet device access requirements across different security scenarios. Devices can achieve data reporting and reception through topic subscription and publishing.

For topic subscription and publishing management, the platform supports managing topics on a per-product-line basis. Built-in communication topics include OTA updates, configuration updates, broadcast, and gateway passthrough, as well as Thing Model communication topics such as property reporting, property setting, event reporting, and service invocation. Custom extended topic types are also supported. The platform provides permission control for device topic subscription and publishing operations, facilitating multi-tenant permission management.

V1.1.0 serves as the foundational release for the device connectivity layer of the SmartBase IoT Platform. Subsequent releases will build upon this foundation to enhance capabilities including Thing Model management and scenario-based automation.
